I installed my first one today. It was just the right device for my application and I can see where I will have more calls for this type of receptacle.

Nope. Just like a female cord plug. They are TR and approved for 2- 12/2 NM or MC cables.

It's bonded at the other end presumable. I am quite certain that the unit comes with a different connector for mc.

I may have to stand corrected because the site states NM. Perhaps it was the older ones that were rated. I am quite sure about that but things have changed.

This is one of those time where as an inspector you really have to put your foot down and say "I don't care what the designer or homeowner wants."

And I agree.

Let's face it, most Architects and Decorators aren't to happy about having exits lights hanging in their masterpieces but they have to live with them and even make concessions for their installation.
