For a residential swiming pool panel installed in the same building as the service, Do i need insulated ground for the feeders or can i install aluminum SER for it.
 
On the subject of pools not too got too far off topic...

Are pool lights voltages restricted to 12volts or can you have 120volts lights? I've never done a pool.

You can use whatever you want as long as you follow the code, keep reading 680, its very important that you understand it before you actually wire the pool.
 
I'm doing a pool now if you wanna come to work with me tomorrow. :grin: Last one of the season thankgod, this one is a monster.

I'll snap ya some pics of what I did so far.

I don't have a pool in the pipe line (no pun intended)... I was just curious hypothetically could a light for a pool be 120volts or does it have to be low voltage...

I will read 680.

What type of light are you actually asking about? One that is installed inside of the pool or just around the pool area?
