Residential feeder for new addition

Looking to size a feeder for a new residential addition.
Owner will be adding a hot tub in the future.
What would be a reasonable number to use?

Many require a 50A circuit. So 9600 watts continuous because the pump and heat can easily run for 3 hours or more.

From an electricians point of view and not an engineer. I would use what ever is the most commonly available wire in your area, Such as #2 AL or 1/0 AL, Or you could give the customer the option to use copper, Then you might use #4 or #3 depending on if the addition is getting more heat. Then size the feeder by what you're using.
