Cat 5e or 6 is full duplex and wi-fi is half duplex, ie full duplex can send and receive at the same time, wi if is like a cell phone one person at a time

A distinction without a difference. Modern digital wireless can switch back and forth between transmit and receive so rapidly, it is effectively full duplex. Think cars crossing through a stop sign, only hundreds of times per second.

Of course, radio links always have the problem of randomly conking out for no reason in other ways, but full/half duplex is not really an issue.
