Quick question for you guys....I know that on the eve of a house the mast would be in RMC to the meter, but from the bottom of the meter into the house....does that have to be RMC as well or could you use EMT with compression couplings? Thanks guys!
 
by NEC it could be many methods depending on the specific limitations of each Art. , but at lot of POCO's (and local jurisdictions) have their own requirements.
Some POCOs in this area require ANY exposed service conduits to be metallic.
 
Around here we use SE cable out of the meter and into the panel. The real restriction comes when that wiring method is subject to physical damage. Then there is a short list of approved wiring methods that can be used. 230.50
