Hello All,
I have an existing setup of an dual flood motion light with an auxiliary decorative sconce around the corner of the house that is activated by the dual flood motion light.
I want to replace the dual flood motion flood only with the "Ring floodlight camera".
My question is do any of you know if Ring has a product or do you know of a creative way to have the auxiliary decorative sconce light energise when motion is defected from the "Ring floodlight camera"?

How do you have the old setup? Should be the same or add a ice cube relay.
Don't know about the Ring out put if 120v tap the switch leg.

I haven't disassembled the unit it self. It looks like the two LED floods are fed from the driver inside, there are two leads, red & black. I should test them when activated to find out what the output is to the floods.

Yeah, trying to avoid that.:)

If Ring unit paperwork omits Watt limit for load output, get client to wait on hold with Ring support while you work. Remote LED light maybe within limits.

Clients feel more productive when they can help, and the mouth stops when they get a tool in their hand, rather than breathing down my neck.

If I remember correctly, the Ring floodlight/cam does not have accessible load wires. The only solution is going to be another Ring-compatible floodlight.

You are correct, they don't.
Their tech support is limited to basically reading the brochure back to you.
I am surprised that Ring doesn't have some sort of Ring compatible auxiliary relay for this sort of application When I asked tech support about this, they told me "that" is a great idea and would put it in their suggestion box... oh boy.
Thanks for your help.
please let me know if you find a product out there that can accommodate this.
Thanks again!

See if either of these will help. The first link includes one of the second link.
