So they are demoing two panels(LPNE-1 & LPSE-1) which are feeding other panels on the upper floors.

LPNE-1 & LPSE-1 are 120/208v 225a panels.

LPNE-1 & LPSE-1 are being fed from a main switchboard.

They want us to extend the line and load side of the two panel and put a splice box.

Notes #8 &10 only refer to the panel size and to provide a splice box.

I sent an RFI in and they said to provide as required. Ridiculous.

How can a 225A panel feed all the panels on the upper floors? Too small more than likely?

I’d think there is a riser running larger size wires and tapping off?

Are you redesigning the risers? It looks like the existing panel are feed through up the riser is that correct? And they want the conductors spliced through?

# 10 are new splice boxes. To me it looks( the way its drawn) the upper panels are fed from the existing panels being demo'ed. Whihc would not be possible. THink there has to be an existing tap box involved.

The way it's drawn it appears that the current panel is a feed through to the riser. Remove the panel, extend the conductors, and splice as needed. If this is a tap for the existing panels what size is the OCPD ahead of the existing riser?

All needs to be done is splice the existing line/load feeders. No tap.
There is no info on the OCPD feeding these panels.
Just says they are 225A panel.
I don't know the size/sets of these feeders needing splicing. That's my question.
