Could be that or just a shadow from the photo. I've seen many a fitting like this with the threads still in place.Looks like maybe the threads are still on RMC?
Agreed , I too have seen it before. Wonder why it would be called a threadless fitting if you left the threads on? Seems as though fitting would not be listed for this usage as may allow water in? Then , maybe it’s a shadow.![]()
It's threaded into the hub on a box so I don't think that it's a 3-piece Erickson fitting. It's an Erickson fitting for GRC.
You may be right but I've never seen what you've described do you have a link to one? Around here Erickson is the brand name of a 3 piece coupling. They also manufacture them (Erickson fittings) w/ male ends on one side. Not just coupling fittings.
Isn’t that a myers hub ?They also manufacture them (Erickson fittings) w/ male ends on one side. Not just coupling fittings.
I’ll take your word I never really care about brands when I order stuff I would just say threadless rigid male connector and get what I getNo.. Not a myers hub. You can though, google them online.

I know and the only difference between an Erickson coupling and a threadless is an Erikson is explosion proofA Myers hub is not a threadless rigid male connector. It has male threads on the end that enters the enclosure, and female threads on the exterior end.
Similarly, an Erickson fitting isn't threadless either. Erickson usually refers to the Erickson coupling, or 3-piece coupling, that allows you to connect two threaded conduits without rotating them as you assemble them. The pieces of the coupling get rotated instead. The analogous plumbing term is union.
I think he talking same thing just male port on one end and female port on the other - similar here:You may be right but I've never seen what you've described do you have a link to one? Around here Erickson is the brand name of a 3 piece coupling.

Here is an example of a male union, but I also actually believe it is a rigid compression box connector.
