Hypothetically, can you run a three wire feeder without an EGC using ridged or intermediate conduit for a unattached structure in a residential setting.
I ask due to the 2008 change for feeder circuits.

Yes, the conduit may serve as the required EGC.

No, you may not run a three wire feeder without an EGC to an unattached structure in any setting. However, your continuation is correct since 250.118 lists types of EGCs and both RMC and IMC are listed as EGCs. :smile:
