RMC treads where does the code dis-allow use of thread compounds?

I use copper shield at the water treatment plants, works as a anti seize and helps with conductivity. I also use it in other applications as well.

teflon is a pretty good insulator, so that isn't a working
solution as mentioned.

if you want to exclude water and prevent corrosion, here is
what i've always used.

made in costa mesa, calif. for the "buy american" appreciators.

on fitted joints, it's good to 50,000 psi. that should keep most of
the rain out. 2 oz. tubes to 50 lb. pails.
 
Only job I ever did in HI we used Galvacon (95% zinc base paint) on all threads on buried steel RMC.

BTW, buried Aluminum RMC in HI corrodes within a few years due to the high iron and sulphur content of the volcanic soil.
