Romex in conduit question???

Yes, you are correct. However the OP states:

"I have a scenario where I have about 30' of 3/4" PVC conduit and I need to pull a 14/3 and a 14/2 romex to a j-box. The PVC conduit is buried underground below an open storage structure with a roof."

IMHO, this does not describe a protective sleeve.

What is the official length limit of a protective sleeve?

Code references appreciated.

Power,

I don't understand your use of 'correct wire'.

Sometimes it is cheaper (time & material wise) and meets code,
to simply push it down a conduit and into the JB,
then connect the Receptical, directly onto the Romex.

:)

I do the exact thing as you in basements. Nothing wrong with that install.

Underground I pull wire, I have never ran UF.

Not that there is anything wrong with it. I could not imagine pulling the stuff. It is some tough stuff. I hate stripping it.

I install WP boxes, hand holes etc.. I use a PVC bender to custom bend the PVC.

Power,

You wrote
"" ...I could not imagine pulling the ..." UF cable through conduit.

It is tough. I don't plan to do it, again, for more than a few feet!
:)

I like innovative techniques,
and I've seen a few on this forum.
:)

Expense...

Expense...

Mostly likely, this question was posed because the run is only 30 ft. Who wants to buy 4 500ft spools of wire for a run that short?
