Yup.

You can use 90deg for derating and when 90deg terminations are required but in the end you have to protect it as a 60deg conductor
(see 334.80)

Good luck finding anything with 90C rated terminals though...
This concept basically only applies when connecting directly to bus bars using compression lugs, and even then not all compression lugs are rated for 90C.

I should have explained myself better (story of my life).. I was thinking about items that require 90deg rated conductors such as some light fixtures
