I would put it in my house and your house if you want me to. I love the stuff so much I just stocked up on 10,000 ft of it before the price jumps up again.

NM is great for tieing ladders and temp lights for anything else it is simply the min you can get away with. It is the bottom of the food chain ,if building a new home for your family do you really want it ?
I do. Workmanship trumps over materials when it comes to safe and reliable wiring.

I'll take a house I wired in NM over one wired in conduit/MC/etc. by an incompetent any day.

Just ask around. He's the crazy white guy with the chain saw.:D
I have 2 dogs and lots of other surprises for tresspassors/Bad men when I have called the police twice in the past to pick up tresspasors/Bad men they were very relieved when the police got there to arrest them. So was the 911 operator after I told her what I may have to do if they dont get there soon. Police always said the same thing when they got there and it was a religious name. I never bring a chainsaw to a gunfight unless I am in Bridgeport. I know none of the Bridgeport thugs had a gun or they wouldnt have run away that fast/scared. A chainsaw is perfectly acceptable for a knifefight in Bridgeport btw. Just make sure it has fresh gas.

This may sound horrible ,.. but my house is where I do my sloppiest work:roll: ,.which is still high quality mind you,.. just not what I want to sell ,.you might say..

OK given the choice for same price and same quailty you can have your house wired in romex or emt. If you pick romex then your the same guy that picks a hamburger over a steak dinner. Sorry if it upsets anyone but its far too easy to get an accidental nail or screw in romex and that could create a hot spot. Yes same can and will happen to emt but far less likely to start a fire inside a pipe.

Insert cuckoo clock sound effect here.

I agree that a nail or screw can wreck havic with nm cable but it still is a good system. Why not go for surf and turf and install rigid?

It would be quite a trick to be able to pipe a house for the same price as I can rope one in Romex. My guess is that if you can do it, your the one eating hamburgers, if you can afford them.:D

And "The shoemake's children wear no shoes."

I just know that someone will see my work some day, and say "Oh, yeah, and get this: the guy was a licensed electrician!"

Worse yet, they may say it here.
