Rough-in for Plugmold

I have a client who wants many sections of Plugmold throughout a room concealed under a piece of trim. I don't use the stuff much so I am wondering how best to do the rough wiring? Will I be able to fit two pieces of 12-2 into one end of it? Or do I have to go in one end and out the other?

The idea is numerous sections of 2-3 foot pieces. Thanks for any insight.
 
If you want two cables in each section a junction box at one end is probably the easiest way to go. These are designed specifically for 2000 series PlugMold.

Just FYI, this question is hard to answer with the information given. The catalog has decent information and you should be able to fixture it out from that. The internal wiring in the plugmold strip is #12, so feed through is fine, but entering in the ends with surface mounted raceway or cable requires acessories.
 
To those who are familiar with the stuff...........is it possible to have two 12-2's enter one side(all splices there) or is the body of the plugmold too tight for that?

Not going to work. You'll need an entrance fitting. Are you running inside of the wall with the 12/2's?

If you use the Wiremold connectors it can be done, but have heard for years that those connectors are not listed for grounding, hopefully others will confirm or debunk that. Plugmold is a pain to work with.
 
If the receptacles on the Plugmold are at least 9" apart you should be able to install two pieces if 12/2 cable and stagger the splices. Wiremold makes special rectangular maybe 1" long push in connectors to make splices. Have to make sure the beveled edge faces the side of plugmold.The legend -wiremold part number for these is W30 & W30G for green ones.
