I guess I don't install my switchgear where I need to use a bucket truck to access it.

I think the target audience here is utillity workers, subststion techs, tree trimmers, crane maintenance techs, industrial electricians pulling or installing buss plugs, etc.

Good post.That one got me thinking I have 1kv tools but no Arc Flash gear.
Isn't that like driving a car without a windshield?

And a broken gas tank dragging on the concrete doing 120mph.

I worked in Indiana's 697 local and they not only required CPR/First Aid, but specified Red Cross for training. Much has changed over the years. I can see why semi-yearly updates are required.

I collect hard hats. I have them in various colors and designs from various contractors. I have a favorite that I wear unless the contractor requires one of theirs. Also, I make sure I have a 'No-Dog' and a Sharpie firmly affixed and readily available.

Of course, my favorite hard hat is adorned with many stickers from many different jobs and contractors along with all the safety stickers required.
