I seen a safety issue in a water park where they installed 26 watertight switch box's with double MC going into the top of the box.
I was in the water park during a rainstorm and seen water running down the MC cable going it the box.
I have contacted the inspector that issued the occupancy permit, and he insisted that it meets NEC 2018 the park open in 2024.
to me it is involution of 2 codes.
any help would be apricated before a child gets hurt

There is no 2018 NEC, so if an inspector is stating that it may tell you something about his qualifications

We did permit and inspect the project for compliance with the 2018 code series adopted by Pennsylvania

I visited the site on Thursday to review your concerns. The MC cable is permitted in damp locations. The code section you provided is specific to wet locations if you check the definitions the location of this MC is in a damp location.

Location, Wet. Installations underground or in concrete
slabs or masonry in direct contact with the earth; in locations
subject to saturation with water or other liquids, such
as vehicle washing areas; and in unprotected locations exposed
to weather.

I agree to me it is in violation of 312 and 330 and it not just the MC it is the fact that it is going into the top of a watertight box without a watertight connector

Document your concern in a letter to the town's elected officials and mail it certified, return receipt.
Once they see the possibility of liability some action may ensue.
