I'm prewiring for a satellite antenna on a chimney in the center of a house. I ran the coax and ground wire down through two floors to the basement. Can I attach ground wire to copper water pipe at the closest location or do I have to go to within five feet of entering building (this would be at least 50 feet farther)?
Also, is #10 STRANDED sufficient? Or does it have to be solid?
