What type enclosure would be appropriate for a sawmill?

What type enclosure would be appropriate for a sawmill that has a sprinkler system?

Or does this qualify a a hazardous location at all?

none of the sawmills I have been in were classified.

most of the enclosures were gasketed, but many also had cooling fans (sawmills are often warm places).

I have done a good amount of saw mill work, so my advice is Nema 12 enclosures, ridgid conduit sealing washers or hubs at enclosure penetrations. use nylon locking nuts when mounting equipment or hangers for vibration. Strap your conduit at no less than every 5' because it will take a beating. Weld your hangers in place were possible.

I use NEMA 4X where ever possible on both our green side and on the dry side of the sawmill. Where it is being the primary lockout device I include the window version, along with stop and jog ( test buttons ). The cost is worth it, besides I'm sure you will have wash-down issues for most areas on the green side to remove sap buildup.
