Can I use Schedule 80 PVC like I would GRC or IMC as far as burial depth.
What NEC article backs up the reason and why?

Schedule 80 PVC is best used for stub ups and exposed work that can possibly get damaged. Note the internal size is smaller and can affect your pipe fill calculations. I dont know of any advantage of using it underground, the depth coverage is the same as sch 40.

Do you transition between the two underground before a stub up? Just ream well to deal with the different diameters?
