Seal off for diesel fuel dispensing

Is the area around a diesel fuel dispensing considered a hazardous area needing seal off on the conduits? I am thinking C1D2 and 501.15 will apply. Currently under the 2008 edition, I know, Indiana is way behind.

I don't think so for diesel. Here we have to go through the state fire marshals office for any type of bulk storage and dispensing as they have a mountian of rules to follow other than electrical.
