Hey I am failing the inspection because I use a seal nut on the side of Automatic transfers switch, the inspector want us use the myerhub , mentioned the code reference 312.2 but , went I read it doesn't mention that we have to use the myer hub. I think the sealnut with the pvc male connector on the side of the ATS i correct. Some of you can help me to clarify this, thank you

What type of raceway? I believe that sealing locknuts are only listed for use with RMC and IMC.

Sealing locknuts, when used on the type of conduit that are listed for use with, have the same water tight rating as a conduit hub.

Myers hubs and sealing locknuts both only listed for use with RMC/IMC if you want to follow listing.

Otherwise both are still rather effective on other raceways/fittings and in some cases actually better than some other products listed for such use. The rubber gasket that comes with raintight EMT fittings is only good for maybe one year if in sunlight. After that fails a set screw fitting is actually more rain tight than what gets left behind for a gap when that rubber washer is gone. I use myers hubs with raintight fittings because of this. So far no inspector has failed them.

Sounds like he's using a PVC terminal adapter. Those Carlon O-rings with a standard locknut would be code complaint.
