Are we taling about liquidtight metallic flexible conduit or liquidtight non-metallic flexible conduit?

Both require that the fitting be listed. (See 350.6 and 356.6)

The fittings should be installed in accordance with the manufactures installation instructions. (See 110.3(B))

What specifically seems to be the problem with the way the fittings are installed?

I see installers trying to glue LFNC directly into a PVC fitting or box with no connector. While ENT and PVC are compatible, K|LFNC and PVC are not. Make sure they stick with a completely listed system, end to end...
