Sealtite

wE came incontact where sealtite was being installed under ground in about 10' sections for about 50'. It passed inspection . 3/4 - 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 sealtite. I always though 6' was the longest lenghts for sealtite. Did not get a chance to talk to contractor . Spoke to his worker. Did anyone ever install this underground before?

Some LFMC is listed for direct burial. There is no 6' limitation on length.

"Sealtite" and fittings, when listed or marked for the purpose, is permitted to be installed underground.

The 6' number is regarding unsupported in most cases. Obviously not the case when buried.

6' would also apply to LFMC where used without an EGC.
