Secondary overcurrent protection

On the secondary side of a 45 KVA delta wye transformed, you can use a fused disconnect if its within 10 feet but if you go over 10 feet you must use a enclosed circuit breaker. Can someone tell me if i am correct?

don't beleive you will find that anywhere in the Code.

so if your going into a panel you would need to be within 10 feet or else you would have to hit a fused disconnect first

too many varibles for a blanket statement. You need to refer to 240.21(C)

Protection for the transformer conductors can be either fuses or breakers at either distance.
