Secret Logo Submission Contest (ending 12/31/07)

It seems that we have an interest in identifying fellow members on the street.
Mike Holt has responded and is willing to help with getting this off the ground.
Over the next two weeks (until midnight on 12/31/07), please submit your most creative logo or idea to this thread.
At the end of the period, a few members will serve as judges and decide on finalists from the thousands of entries that will probably be submitted.
They will then be posted with a poll and the membership will decide on the new identity.
There is no prize, only the pride in knowing that you are responsible for decorating thousands of vehicles throughout the world and bringing strangers together.

Lamp with dark blue outline with graduation cap with mortor board, not a yellow huge, but gold (sun fade and all) 2X x 3Y. About the size of the Apple logo, that I don't have, lol... :rolleyes:

It is basially his present Company logo ?, that's a different color huge in the background...

There isn't anything secret about that logo. We either call for a logo or a secret logo. Personally I don't care but it is confusing.
 
secret ? lol, I think that part was just a joke. the idea is to promote the forum and electrical safety, right ?

I didn't need a sticker to identify myself as a Mike Holt's forum member at my last job. I already had the reputation of being one of the "internet guys." Bob (Iwire) was nicknamed "Mr. Moderator." :D

I never let inspectors that I am regular here at Mike's and I certainly don't say that I have 18,000 + posts.

I figure it can only make my inspections go slower. :grin:

Yeah, I hadn't thought of that. It does put you at a certain disadvantage in one sense. :D

I was talking with a local inspector shortly after joining and and found out he was a member also and knew my handle. I began to choose my words very carefully, but in and out of the forum. :grin:

Doug PMed about this and I think its a great idea. I also think Chris Knight's

Vacation Forum Style

is an outstanding idea. What ever happened to that? I went to Iowa and met Ken while I was there, yet I have never met Doug who lives 40 mins. away. Go figure.

I have no decals or stickers on my vehicles but would proudly display this as a member of the homework doing pack that truely cares.

More power to all here and give me something good!:grin:
 
I nominate Mike Ames' design as well ! I think the design by nakulak looks nice as well but really think it would be hard to see in daylight on glass where as Mike's black background color kinda jumps out . More eye-catching !
