I read this section and understand to me they are talking about ceiling grid wire needing to be supported at both ends. I however don't see if you are using 1/4" awethread. I don't believe that it is needed to be supported at both ends if you are supporting junction boxes above ceiling. Does anyone have any input on if you do or don't?
 
I am asking this because I am having a conflict with another inspector about it. Do you have a referance for that?
