Hello,
I do not have much experience in the field of conduit installation so I wanted to come to the experts. We planned on running conduit underground from point A to point B but as it turns out the ground is all bedrock. This area is not trafficked at all as its on the edge of some woods inside a client's campus. We plan on just running the conduit along the ground and securing to the bedrock. I know they secure conduit off of their other rock faces (very rocky area) with struts but those rock faces are vertical not horizontal. Either way I would think we would need struts still but that creates a tripping hazard in the event someone ever does want to walk through the woods. NEC doesn't seem to care about tripping hazards but in this case it just seems negligent. Does anyone have a good solution?
