We are about to mfr a DC version of our currently (no pun intended) AC-only device, these are for attachment to 508/508a panels. In pursuit of this, we're wondering what is the preferred, and UL accepted, type of connector we should include for this? In the Ac world its the 3-prong plug, but in DC??

Also, UL guidelines tell us the power/lead wire can be between 2-8' in length, is there some 'industry standard' that would be ideal or most common to include?

thanks in advance!

Right here.
I don't build this stuff, but I can tell you what I commonly observe. I see a lot of Anderson style connectors for DC interconnects.

Marc thanks - one builder told me, just put a ring type connector on the leads, to fit a #10 bolt.

This looks much more professional certainly.
