I?m an independent inventor (that's code for poor & desperate:roll:) and I?m bootstrapping (no investor$ ? (yet)). I?m developing an electrical innovation that addresses some of the problems associated with the field wiring of common switches and receptacles. With patents filed, I?m refining the basic idea from conceptual hyperbole to real world practice.

The problem is ? I?m an airline pilot and I only have a rudimentary knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical design, and field application of the technology that I?m promoting. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can find someone or some organization (on the cheep:rolleyes:) that will help an underfunded electrical novice such as myself?

I need someone that is able to confirm my assumptions, make sound recommendations, and bring credibility to the project (in return for future remuneration).

I'm also having trouble finding good solid market statistics and electrical industry economic data that I can use as I formulate my business plan. Any tips?

All suggestions and recommendations will be greatly appreciated!
