Code or not..I also leave a recept. at the panel...I usually need one when I am working anyway (radio, battery/cellphone charger)...why not just make it a GFI ? For the $15 it is a more professional job instead of reusing some POS that was already there.Originally posted by mdshunk:
I feel the need to change these to a GFI if I have to relocate them.

I find this borderline offensive and totally a joke.
Who in thier right mind would hire any tradesman off Ebay?? Let alone pay in full, in advance!
1200 guys in 13 loactions??? Selling themselves on Ebay? Is someone desperate for work?
Are you serious. Can someone provide any evidence that this method of marketing works. I could not imagine that this would get you in over your head. I think it may make you go broke, fast.Originally posted by stud696981:
I would be a little hesitant on posting one of these for fear of getting in over my head.
I almost fell off of my chair laughing, but if they can pull this off, and do it legally, then more power to them!!Originally posted by celtic:

For one thing here in NJ any advertisement or offer for service must include the company name and license number or business permit number. I'm sure our Board of Electrical Contractors would have something to say about this. I've heard stories that people have sent them letters on a company letterhead without a license number on it and received a return letter with a fine for failing to have the number on the letterhead.why would it not be legal?
