Separate circuit required for gas dryer in a dwelling unit?

Gas is disappearing in many areas but even so I would run 10/3 nm in case they ever went with electric.. Of course, most of my jobs were T&M and this was back before the great copper hike.

Unless listed instructions require an individual circuit, perhaps for steam-injection models.

These days also available are all in one units 15 amp, that wash and dry,

How long ago was laundry supposedly allowed on the SABC's?

I think when two SABCs became required it was eliminated because the SABCs can have no other outlets or receptacles.

The heat pump dryer versions do not send the lint down the drain, you have to pay attention to keeping the lint screens clean, and watch out for early models that allow lint buildup on the condenser coils.

Not sure how the less efficient condensing versions work, perhaps they do utilize the water in the cold water coil to wash the coils.

That motor is almost identical to one on my 21 year old Fisher & Paykel washing machine!

My home was built in 1997. Only GFCIs are baths, kitchen counter, garage, and exterior. None on the laundry.

The smaller lint and microparticles of plastic from clothing DO go down the drain. Is that better than going out with the hot air, dunno.
