The following was a question at our chapter meeting at the IAEI. We do an open forum at least once a year. We got to only three questions in three hours. I thought that they are worth posting. I will post each separately.
An existing generator contains two frame mounted "source switches." The switches are mounted inside the same housing and they are located side by side without any separation. Where the generator has sufficient capacity, how would you connect an additional "optional load" to this generator if both of the existing loads were designated as "life safety loads" each going to a separate building.
