I'm not sure about using SER cable for a commercial application. I'm wiring a two tenant space with a main breaker meter can. I want to run SER up a wall and above the first tenant space drop ceiling to feed the second space panel.
NEC '05 338.10(4) (a) refers me to parts I and II of article 334 for SE wire. The building is a 1 floor space divided into two spaces. The exterior walls of the building are brick and cinder, the remaining of the building is built and remodeled in conventional timber framing. I'm not quite sure how to classify the structure type and if my application falls in the proper use of the SE cable for that type.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
