Service Clearance

Art. 225.18 specifies clearances to service conductors in relation to conditions at grade. How are these specifications related to the service utility when I have jurisdiction on the load side of the meter?

225.18 is not dealing with service conductors, Article 225 deals with outside branch circuits and feeders.

230.24 deals with clearances for service drop conductors.

The requirements do mirror each other though.

As too your question, if the utility installs the conductors and has exclusive control of the conductors they are not subject to the rules in the NEC. (See 90.2(5)(a).
