Service Conductors--A Question

Must service conductors be either:
a) Service Drop
b) Service entrance
c) Service Lateral,

or can they be just service conductors and not be any of the three above?

Anything before the first NEC compliant overcurrent device is a service conductor. The more descriptive you get with the term, the more specific the location of that section of service conductor referenced.
