If a VSD is rated at 180 amps, does the disconnect ahead of the drive need to be 115% larger, per Art.430.128, meaning the disconnect has to be rated at at least 207 amps?

Yes. So you will need a 225 amp disc. Any problem with this?

No problem at all, just wanted to know that I was understanding the code properly so I can get the correct equipment in place.
