Service drop wire size

Here’s another question on the same topic. And I really do appreciate everyone’s time. I’ve done plenty of upgrades but this is different because of the dual meter base. I spoke with another inspector that a friend knows. He asked about the continuous duty rating which is 250 amps. He said I could use 4/0 copper. So it’s can be confusing when I keep getting different answers.

At 230 amps #4/0 copper is too small for a calculated load of 240 amps. Your minimum conductor size would be 250 kcmil.
