Can type USE2, RHW2 be used for a service drop? I can't find in the code if it's sunlight resistant.

Are there any wire insulations that are defacto sunlight resistant -- don't remember seeing any in the code? I think it is a manufacturer thing -- need to look at the labeling on the specific wire. I'm not sure you'll find sunlight resistant additives in an insulation intended for direct burial in the earth.

Usually you will find the wording Sunlight Resistant written on the outer jacket of cables that are so listed.
