I think we should clear up what you veiw as a 'duct bank' In my experaince that genrally means a group of conduits installed on racks with enginered spacing requirments encased in concrete Does it have anything to do with the spacing of the conduit? You already know the answer to that, you must maintain spacing. How much space is up to debate but IMO it is always more than none.
