One big thing that confuses people, is the phrase or concept "the bond". There seems to be many who think there can only be "one bond" on the system. Of course, first we need to be specific about what we are talking about, but regat of what "the bond" refers to, there is no requirement to have only one. There can be multiple GEC's connected at different locations between the service point and the service disconnect. If we are talking about bonding, EVERYTHING on the supply side of the service disconnect gets bonded to the neutral (grounded conductor actually). You could have 23 pull boxes, 17 CT cabinets, and 47 self contained meters, and each thing gets bonded to the neutral.
