Service mast

I am relocating the meter on my home from the rear to the right side. I have 2" IMC to run up above the roof but I have hit a snag. I have a small "Lip" overhanging the side that is too short to run the IMC through it. Does the NEC allow you to put a offset bend in the service mast to go around the lip? I will have uni-strut and clamp just before the bend. Id hate to have to cut into the lip and somehow seal the drip edge with the IMC halfway in it.
