OK, I know it is crude but I made it on site one day. This "Jig" has served me well the few times I have had to use it.
I screw the jig to the Soffit, the screw holes will be cut out by the 2" Hole Saw.
Jig holds the bit plumb, so a long 1/4" bit goes through roof in perfect alignment.
Drill bottom hole then up on the roof to drill.
