I asked about sevice panels being by the kitchen sink. can you tell me where i can find the NEC code number for this?

The code doesn't say where panels can be. It just tells you a few places where it can't, and working space clearances for everywhere else.

What are you asking? You want a code reference that says panels can be installed next to a sink? You would not find it nor will you find an article that says it cannot be installed there. The fact that the code does not prohibit the location means it is okay to install it there.

The clearance come from art. 110.26 (A-F)
 
Dan, you have asked this same question in three threads, the answer is as the others have told you and will remain the same atleast until 2011, it is not prohibited to have this panel next to the sink in a kitchen.

Ok you got me there, I conceed that in New Orleans the inside of houses are Damp or Wet locations :grin:
