Here is what I have to feed for a electric and diesel pump house. From the utility transformer, off the secondary side, 2 sets (3) 500 AL (1) 250 AL to a wire gutter. From the wire gutter I will hit 3 services. Fire pump controller with 2 sets (3) 500 AL , a 480/277v panel for the electric fire pump building with (4) #1's Cu and a service disconnect with (4) #1's Cu to feed the 480/277v panel for the diesel pump building. All 3 are service rated. I need to splice these inside the wire gutter which we installed a 36" x 36" x 12" j-box. I have to splice (4) 500 AL and (2) #1 Cu for the ungrounded conductors and (2) 250 AL and (2) #1 Cu for the grounded conductors. Do we have to have irreversible connections since it is coming directly off the poco's transformer?? Maybe use a mounted termination block vs splice block?? Any ideas ... suggestions??
Thanks
