I will be installing a 200a service single phase to a barn. Thier is a 6x6 pole in the middle of a field that has a 200a meter installed on it with a 100a main breaker panel mounted to the other side. This panel feeds three other buildings from branch circuits. I will be replacing the 200a meter with a 350a double lug base. The barn is 120ft away from the pole. Do I have to install a 200a ocpd on the pole and then feed the barn with 3 wire and ground or can I Just install it as a service with only 2 ungrounded and a grounded.
This has went different ways in my past depending on the inspector that I got.
