Does anyone see any sense in leaving set screws on bushings when they’re not being used as a bond bushing?

What is point of using a bonding bushing if you not using as a bonding bushing?

If it is all you have at the time being the only exception, in that case do what you want with the set screw and lug.

Not worth the effort to remove. I have enough junk screws as it is.
Ok, I just figured remove them and put in trash because if left on they need to be tight so then your putting bushings on and making sure (or not) that the set screw is tight when it’s not needed.

We use metal bushings vs. plastic ones
Is all you can find the bonding type bushing?

Is there also a locknut or are these type that also double as the locknut? If so you at least need it installed wrench tight and tight to the enclosure wall or else you may still need to land a bonding jumper in it to assure bonding.

Half of the time you need to remove the screws to install the bushing so if they're already removed I would throw them away.
