Yes, look at art. 338.10(B)(4) for more info. Remember the se cable will only be rated 60C in this application.

Thank you for the advice Dennis. I can put it on a 50amp breaker but not a 60amp.

Well, it would depend. If you have alumininum then #4 is rated 55 amps at 60C. If the calculated load is 55 amps or less you may go to a 60 amp breaker based on 240.4(B)

Thanks I owe you one. My knowledge base only consists of chickens, tesla coils, politics, philosophy, wood burning stoves & rc airplanes though.

You still could run aluminum to the disco and copper to the unit but that is a good point for the OP.
