hello all , this is not so much a question on how to do it ,but how everyone else does it . I dont do alot of sewer pumps new but when I do i use #2 12/2 uf to the side of the sewer lid. one is 120 volt and one is a signal wire .I bring then up in a arlington post where I mount a disconect switch and bubble cover .I bring all so cords in conduit into the post and make my splices in the post . I think it looks much better then anything I've seen .... the arlington post is pvc and hollow .... Is this the norm in the feild ?

I like to use a hand hole box next to the pump chamber and have all my wiring inside of that, but there are products out there for this type of installation... Check these out from Liberty Pumps

For what its worth, I would hate to have anything above grade in my yard, so the post would not fly with me... but just my opinion...

sewer pump

In this area, a "homemade" version of the liberty box (link) is common.
Raintight box, usally about 10 x 10..10-12" above ground...2" PVC to pump, interior receptacle and j block

That's a pricey box compared to a bell box or arlington box referred to by the OP. But if the money is there then do as you please. :)
How much you guys paying for Quazite boxes anyhow? I know what I pay for a small one is right around 20 bucks, and they don't get beat up by lawn care equipment.. You guys are freaking out like they're a million dollars. One of sufficient size is only literally a couple dollars more than the Arlington Garden Post.

I use a combination alarm/disconnect most of the time. I mount it on the exterior of the home.
