I just took notice of prices in various stores lately for replacement glass shades. Most were $6 to $8 at Big Blue & some were higher. Hadn't noticed before for some reason.
I'll start keeping any good ones I see being trashed. I could easily get $4 or $5 each at a nearby flea market. I see a lot of broken ones on ceiling fans & I'm sure people will buy them. Could keep a couple in truck too, safely wrapped.
