Shaft

Curious....this is a shaft with a lot of conduits inside and electrical closet. Obviously these would not be individual cores( new building) and maybe a riser type of plate??

Anyone have a pic of something like this....prob not. Thanks.

Does it have a 2 hour rating?

We run risers in open slots through electric closets like that all of the time. Just need a good firestop company. Or you can get a steel plate with all of the riser holes pre-punched in it.

If it’s a true shaft as in 2 hour rating don’t have to do fire blocking at deck levels. Great pictures

Thanks, after looking again at the attachment in the OP you might be correct that the shaft in this case is enclosed in a 2-hour rated enclosure. Our electric closets typically have the risers going directly through the closet.
